Carlos Valenzuela put this video together of Round 8 at Buttonwillow of the NASA Honda Challenge 4 class showing some great shots of the Double Nickel Nine Motorsports Acura Integra battling it out on course. The blue and orange #33 Integra driven by Rob Krider uses every inch of the track (and then some). Congrats to Carlos for the win. The team will be bringing two cars with two new engines for a rematch in October during the National Auto Sport Association Western States Championships at Buttonwillow. Should be some great racing.
Team earns a pair of second places finishes during Rounds 9 and 10 at Willow Springs International Raceway. They enjoyed their new trophies (NASA beer glasses) by drinking some Double Nickel Nine IPA from Tactical Ops Brewing. So good!
Come on out and enjoy some “Double Nickel Nine IPA” at Tactical Ops Brewing!

Rob Krider has a new column at GearHeads4Life.com appropriately titled “Right Foot.” The first installment follows Rob Krider and Keith Kramer as they battled with their Nissan Z cars in the Optima Search for the Ultimate Street Car challenge at Thunderhill. Check out the full story HERE. The television episode should air in the fall of 2016.
An epic weekend for the DNN team, qualifying on the inside of row 2, and then battling through carnage to take the lead during lap one of Round 8 of the NASA SoCal Honda Challenge series at Buttonwillow Raceway. Tactical Ops Brewing was kind enough to bring a keg of beer to the track for all of the Honda Challenge teams. Tasty stuff!

The team headed to Auto Club Speedway and took on the NASCAR banking during Rounds 5 & 6 of the NASA Honda Challenge series. Big thanks to the guys at Performance In-Frame Tuning and TEM Machine Shop for getting the team some much needed horsepower.

Even while struggling with some on track impacts during the season, Team Double Nickel Nine Motorsports is currently in second place in the NASA SoCal Honda Challenge championship points. That position is due to consistent finishes all season long. “In order to finish first, you must first finish.” The Napa Valley Register newspaper was kind enough to give the team some media coverage HERE.
Next event will be Rounds 5 & 6 at California Speedway in Fontana, CA.
Double Nickel Nine Motorsports was mentioned in the four page feature article in Power and Performance News about Krider Racing/DNN Motorsports’ effort at the Optima Search for the Ultimate Street Car Invitational at SEMA and Las Vegas Motors Speedway.
