100 Wins!

Win number 100 occurred when Rob Krider won the S4 class at the Sports Car Club of America, San Franciso Region at Crow’s Landing.

Double Nickel Nine Motorsports driver Rob Krider celebrated his 100th victory in motorsports on Father’s Day 2021. His first win was 30 years before, 1991, drag racing an El Camino in the High School class with the NHRA at Sears Point. Thirty years later he finally picked up win number 100. His accomplishment was covered in the Napa Valley Register newspaper. You can read the story HERE.

DNN Motorsports Wins One Lap of America!

Eight days, over 3,600 miles, 10 different tracks, 20 scoring events (road course, skid pad, drag race, autocross, circle track, road rallye) and Stephen Young, Rob Krider and Keith Kramer came home victorious in the 2021 TireRack One Lap of America winning the Economy Car class in their 2019 Ford Fiesta ST. Magazine Cover!

Double Nickel Nine Motorsports was honored to be on the front cover of the February 2021 issue of The Wheel magazine. Rob Krider, piloting the team’s Fiesta ST (which was a feature car for FordMuscle.com’s The Way of the FiST series), was on the cover of the magazine twice (top from a Sacramento SCCA autocross at Thunderhill Raceway and bottom at the SCCA DirtFish RallyCross National Championships at Heartland Park Raceway in Topeka, KS).  To see the issue of the magazine click HERE. The same weekend the magazine hit most mailboxes, Rob picked up his 2020 H-Street Regional Championship trophy (below).

2020 SCCA Regional Champions!

The team earns a Regional Championship in 2020 with Rob Krider completing an undefeated season in SCCA’s H-Street class. He finished the racing season with a PAX overall win at Fresno SCCA’s Round 12 five lap enduro race. Huge thanks to AEM Electronics, Carbotech Performance Brakes, Smart Racing Products alignment gear, Mishimoto cooling products, Motion Control Suspension dampeners, and Yokohoma tire for the sticky ADVAN A052 race tire. Rob Krider Featured in The Wheel Magazine

The Wheel magazine was kind enough to run a feature story on Rob Krider and his racing efforts in the team’s 2019 Ford Fiesta ST, known as The FiST. The story covers Rob’s history in racing, his championships, the podcasts and television shows he has been featured on and his book Cadet Blues. The FiST rocks the DBL NKL9 license place to represent Double Nickel Nine Motorsports as well as Tactical Ops Brewing’s Double IPA of the same name. Check out the story HERE (page 6).

DNN Motorsports Wins Three Races In One Day!

Double Nickel Nine Motorsports took on four races in a single day at Buttonwillow Raceway Park on October 11, 2020, and came away winning three out of four events. The Register was kind enough to do a writeup on the teams success and you can check out that story HERE.

The team dedicated their enduro victory to crew member and sponsor Darrel Price (J & B Farms) who is battling heart failure and cancer. The team signed the first place trophy and delivered it to Darrel in the hospital on Monday after the race.

DNN Motorsports: Four Races-One Weekend

The team is bringing out the whole circus for a NASA/SCCA combo weekend at Buttonwillow. Rob Krider and Keith Kramer will both compete in two Honda Challenge races in the #38 and #33 Acura Integras. they will share the team’s third car for a 3-hour enduro Saturday night for the WERC series, and Rob will run the FiST in the SCCA autocross held on the Kart track. How many trophies can the team bring home in one weekend? We will find out October 10-11, 2020.
