Krider Classic 100

Each competitor received a track map complete with named corners like the Gates of Throttle, the Carbotech Chicago Box, the Honda Challenge Curve, the Shaw and Blackstone Intersection, The Horse Shoe, the Sanger Tire Slalom, the Leg Up corner, Tactical Ops Turn and the Ford Finish.
After each lap at the Krider Classic 100 (now referred to commonly as The KC 100), drivers were provided with an “unofficial” timing slip with space to make run notes.
Every competitor earned a Krider Classic 100 participant patch (to be worn with pride) along with decals for their cars, exclaiming “Official Competition Vehicle” (to get pulled over by the police).

The event was a great success and it has inspired us to go even bigger next year. The tentative date is set for Saturday, July 15, 2023 (mark your motorsports calendars). We are planning an afterparty at Tactical Ops Brewing, where if you bring in your trophy, a KC 100 plate gets you a free pint! See you there!

MEDIA

There has been a fair amount of media coverage of the KC100, here is an article on the podium which was created just for this event (click here for podium story), an article on the one-of-a-kind trophies (click here for article on trophies) and an overall writeup on the event itself (click here for wrap-up story -page 18).

The December 2022 issue of The Wheel magazine covered the inaugural running of the Krider Classic 100.
